Celtic art is thought to have developed from different ideas and styles being shared between different regions. However, rather than just blindly copying what was done elsewhere, people took new motifs, forms and designs and elaborated on them to create something unique. I like to think I’ve followed in this way of thinking while exploring an art form that has always intrigued me.
